About Us

I would like to introduce my business “Old 20 Auctions”

old 20 barn

We have been involved in the auction business since 1988. Prior to the construction of our new facility, we were known as “Loecke Auction Service” and ran it alongside our general contracting business “MEP Construction Inc.” In 2015, we had an exciting opportunity to sell the construction division and have since focused solely on the auction side of our business. We opened our new facility and have been busy researching and becoming educated on the most successful manners of marketing all lines of equipment including agriculture equipment, construction equipment, trucks, trailers, lifts, generators, etc. Unfortunately, we have exited the household auction world. We enjoy the opportunity to sell automobiles and real estate but the days of my old bones hauling Davenports, beds, and collectables has become a thing of the past. If you have some “cool” old signs or antiques you can call me directly, but otherwise we no longer affiliate with household/collectable items.

My wife Megan has a neat option in the event you need help with a fundraiser or benefit auction. She is the contact for “Faster Giving.” An online platform that does a terrific job organizing and getting your items in an online only auction environment. All the listing and operations of the auction are the responsibility of the group or organization hosting the event. Unfortunately, we no longer offer our facility for any live auctions due to situations that have arose in the past.

We have partnered with Sandhills Global to allow our buyers/sellers to market their items in an elite online buying/selling environment. Sandhills Global brings years of experience to our team, creating expertise to our auction’s marketing ability in the ever-growing internet world. All our auctions are offered online through AuctionTime.com. I find it amazing how the world has changed in the last 30 years. In today’s world “you bid” and in the event you are “outbid” it will send you a text with a link to bid again!

We also offer 60-day listings on our online store, which allows the seller to market their item in a protected environment with a Buy-it-Now price. This allows your item to be listed on our personal website and will also show up in internet searches worldwide by exporting to many of the Sandhills Global hosted websites including: TruckPaper, TractorHouse, Machinery Trader, Lifts Today, MarketBook, CraneTrader, ForestryTrader, PavingEquipment.com, Tree and Landscape Equipment Trader, Machinio, etc. This allows you to truly market your item in a global marketplace with hopes of getting top dollar for your asset. We love to have anything listed through us at our facility so that we can put our hands on it, easily show it to potential buyers, and do the best job we can representing it, but we know that is not always feasible. If your item/s are hard to move, you would rather keep them at your location, or keep them in use while offered for sale, we will come to your property (within reasonable distance) to picture and get all the details of your equipment. We can coordinate trucking to anywhere in the country and all shipping costs after the sale are the responsibility of the buyer. In unique instances, we consider trading in items or buying parts of estates.

Give us a call today! We would love to sell your equipment. “It pays to sell with Old 20 Auctions.”

What do I look for when I need to sell my asset?

Auctions are a big event, and it's no secret that the company you choose to host your auction can make a huge difference in the success of your sale. We would love the opportunity to host your auction and feel the following bullet points provide significant financial advantages to the outcome.

  • Our team has hosted successful auctions for over 30 years, and experience matters!
  • The use of our new modern facility and modern technologies including: online bidding, comprehensive marketing, and our connection with Sandhills Global allow us to merge technology with tradition, giving you the maximum dollars to harvest from your auction or individual pieces of equipment.
  • “It pays to sell” with Old 20 Auction!
